New York Day 2

It was so freaking hot!

No one understands that in Ireland, we usually get rain and that’s it. So, coming into this warm weather is different. The day was basically filled with shopping, exploring the city and getting ubers everywhere πŸ˜‚

Still jet lagged, we basically just took our time and didn’t rush around considering the city is constantly busy and everyone is always on the go.

So, we ended up in the M&M Store, Sephora and the Disney Store.

We took a walk around Central Park which was probably my favourite part of the day. I have never been and it is such an iconic place. It was amazing to see so much green and then high-rise buildings behind your view. It was such a weird contrast.

The Strand was our last stop and at first I was so overwhelmed by the insane amount of books that this store had. I have never seen anything like it πŸ˜ƒ It was amazing to wander and look at all the different selections of titles that are not really seen in Ireland. I also got so many great books for such good prices and I cannot wait to read them!

After resting and ordering pizza ❀️, we went to see Everything, Everything which I really enjoyed. I loved Nick Robinson and Amandla Stenberg, they were fantastic and they really played their characters so well. There was a lot of humour in this film which I think brought the plot to life and also adapted the technological world really well.

Overall, it was a great day and perfect for just relaxing. I’m going to leave you with a group selfie!

How was your Friday?

Thanks so much for reading,
