Who does not love Disney? I certainly love it! Disney movies and stories are the basis of my childhood, so when I found that there was a book tag for this I was all over that! BookTube has really opened up so many great tags for me to do!
The Little Mermaid: A Character That Is Out Of Their Element (A Fish Out Of Water)
Cath from Fangirl – Rainbow Rowell. Cath is so out her element in college. She is uncomfortable and just not into the whole socialising aspect of college. I found that college was a big leap for this character.
Cinderella: A Character Who Goes Through Major Transformation
Tris from Divergent – Veronica Roth. Tris goes from this quiet and shy girl from Abnegation to bad-ass, saving the worlddivergent. She took on such huge responsibilities in this series but it is clear how much she changed, not just physically (her hair) but also mentally.
Snow White: A Book With An Eclectic Cast Of Characters
The Mortal Instruments – Cassandra Clare. I know this isn’t a book, but this series has such a broad range of characters. It fascinates me how Cassie has managed to include all of them and create this whole world with all of these people.
Sleeping Beauty – A Book That Put You To Sleep
Fated – Alyson Noel. I tried so hard to get into Alyson’s novels but I just feel like there is not enough to keep me entertained.
The Lion King – A Character Who Had Something Traumatic Happen To Them In Childhood
So many books…
Emma Carstairs from Lady Midnight – Cassandra Clare. Her parents being murdered, the whole Shadowhunter War, having to become part of another family. Emma has been through so much in her childhood that I really think she deserved The Dark Artifices to give her a spotlight.
Beauty and the Beast – A Beast Of A Book (A Big Book) That You Were Intimidated By, But Found The Story To Be Beautiful
Six Of Crows – Leigh Bardugo. I know this book isn’t insanely big but it did intimidate me at first. I wasn’t sure how it was going to play out. But, I loved it in the end!
Aladdin – A Character Who Gets Their Wish Granted, For Better Or Worse
Feyre from A Court Of Thorns And Roses – Sarah J Maas. It may not have been her wish at the beginning of the book, but Feyre does get the ending she fought for even if it does open up a whole can of worms (bad pun intended).
Mulan – A Character Who Pretends To Be Someone Or Something They Are Not
Calaena from Throne Of Glass – Sarah J Maas. It is obvious throughout this series that Calaena is running from herself and her past. She pretends to be the exact opposite to what she is expected to represent. She creates a whole new personality to hide the one she avoids to be.
Toy Story – A Book With Characters You Wish Would Come To Life
All of them?
Definitely The Trouble With Dating Sue – Anna Katmore. You should all know how much I rave about this book (the series in general). I feel like I would instantly be best friends with Sue and I so want a Chris in my life! I would really love all the characters of this series to come to life.
Disney Descendants – Your Favorite Villain Or Morally Ambiguous Character
Maleficient. The more shows I watch (Once Upon A Time) and more books I read about retellings and villainous characters, the more I love Maleficient. I know she’s evil and blah blah, but she is also fierce and fearless. She is so bad-ass and takes what she wants without dancing around it. All villains have their issues, but Maleficient does reveals those feelings through her evil ways.
Does anyone know somewhere where I could get a Disney Collection?
One of my friends tagged me in a picture the other day about Disney Yankee Candles! I so need them in my life! Saoirse, if you are reading this, WE HAVE TO FIND THEM!
I hope you guys like this tag! Let me know which is your favourite Disney movie, or do you love all of them like me?
Thanks for reading,
